A warehouse with two floors in Philadelphia was “attacked” by twenty inflatable tentacles from the roof and windows.
The massive project is the idea of the Filthy Luker and Pedro Estrellas, both based in the UK. The warehouse in the neighborhood of the Delaware River and the idea was supported by more local artists and curators.
The purple tentacles range from 32 to 40 feet and curl upwards to reveal green suction cups lining their inner surface. Filthy Luker and Estrellas have been collaborating on inflatable sculptures since 1996.
